Ukraine International adds second destination in Lithuania

Ukraine International Airlines will launch non-stop scheduled services between Kiev and Palanga.

Palanga is the second Lithuanian destination to join the carrier’s network, as the airline is already operating to Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital.

SAS, airBaltic, LOT, Wizz Air, Norwegian, Rusline and Ryanair are also operating to Palanga.

Kiev to Palanga service will be operated with a mix of Boeing 737 and Embraer 190 aircraft, configured in two classes.

At Kiev Boryspil International airport, the flights to and from Palanga are optimally connected with Ukraine International  flights to other cities in Ukraine.

Evgeniya Satska, Ukraine International Corporate Press Secretary, said:

“Lithuania enjoys great popularity within our passengers, business travellers and tourists alike.  Typically, this friendly country offers the guests from the CIS states genuine European atmosphere, excellent service, and favorable communications with no linguistic barrier. For these reasons in summer we decided to provide our customers with more travel opportunities. High-class resorts of Palanga and Klaipeda will suit all categories of holidaymakers. Another advantage is that the latter can quickly and conveniently reach the Baltic coast on board of the leading Ukraine`s carrier”.
